Quit work as a veterinary technician after twenty plus years to become a housewife. In that twenty years I've worked in most of the areas available to a vet tech, I teched for five years at the Dallas Zoo, was a shelter attendant at the Tri-City Animal Shelter in Cedar Hill, worked in two research facilities, did the usual small animal practice, was a stable hand, and was a manager at Petsmart and Petland Discounts. My favorite part of working at Petsmart was working the forklift. I demoted myself from Specialty Manager to take up the position of Receiver, less stress and I got to stay in the back and unload trucks all day.

I've also worked for Half Price Books, which was probably one of my worst career choices ever. The job itself was awesome, they treat their employees extremely well, with generous benefits and stock options. I'm talking about the part where I have over 2000 or so unread books making up my home library.

I spend most of my free time either playing World of Warcraft, reading, knitting, reading and knitting, or cross stitching. That is unless someone waves a new PS2 or Xbox game in my face. I've been known to play for six hours straight. So, I'm a geek. What of it?

My main is a female troll hunter, named Hectaizani on the Runetotem US server. I have several alts, my other two 80's are a BE ret pally (Zipporah) and an troll ele shaman (Exploria). If only my pally could have been a troll. For the Horde!

I'm sarradee on bookcrossing and bookrelay, I used to be sarradee here but I lost my password, and screwed up my account so it was just easier to make a new one. My username comes from my blog Wildlycrafty, which I haven't updated in ages. At the time I chose it because I was working at the zoo (Wildly) and knitting millions of pairs of socks (Crafty).

Married, without kids (by choice). My husband and I live with our 4 cats, 2 retired racing greyhounds, guinea pig and fish in a duplex in Austin, TX. My user pic features our Sphynx Zedd. He's my favorite, shhh, don't tell the others.
